Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Pre-launch notice: Flot Technologies operates a pre-launch waitlist. Ride-hailing services are not yet available. These terms govern your use of the waitlist only. They will be updated when Flot launches its ride-hailing service, and re-consent will be requested at that time. This document has not been reviewed by legal counsel.

1. The waitlist service

Flot Technologies (“Flot”) operates a pre-launch waitlist at rideflot.com. By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive email notifications when Flot launches in your city. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the service, create a contractual obligation, or reserve a subscription.

2. Ride-hailing services not yet available

Flot's ride-hailing platform is not yet operational. No rides can be booked, no driver subscriptions can be purchased, and no financial transactions related to ride-hailing take place through this website. These terms will be substantially revised before the live service is available.

3. Information you provide

By joining the waitlist, you confirm that the email address and other information you provide are accurate. You agree not to use the waitlist to submit false or misleading information, or to sign up on behalf of another person without their consent.

4. Data and privacy

Your use of the waitlist is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We collect only the minimum data necessary to notify you at launch. Data is stored in Canada (Google Cloud northamerica-northeast2). We do not sell your data.

5. No warranties

The waitlist website and any information on it are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Flot makes no representations about whether, when, or in what form its ride-hailing service will launch. We reserve the right to modify, delay, or cancel the service at any time without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Flot Technologies and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the waitlist website.

7. Unsubscribing

You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by emailing rideflot@gmail.com with the subject “Unsubscribe” and the email you used to sign up. We will remove your data within 30 days.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to these terms

We will update these terms when Flot launches its ride-hailing service. Material changes will be communicated by email and will require re-consent before you can use the live service. Continued use of the waitlist site after minor updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
